Abstract

1. Un procedimiento para preparar derivados de ácido acético de fórmula: **(fórmula 01)** en la que X es un átomo de oxígeno o azufre, cada uno de R1 y R 2 es un átomo de hidrógeno o un grupo metilo, y R3 es un átomo de hidrógeno o un grupo 2- (2hidroxietoxi)etilo; con tal que cuando R1 es un átomo de hidrógeno, el grupo **( fórmula 02)** es un grupo distinto de un grupo 1-carboxietilo; y cuando X es un átomo de azufre, tanto R1 como R2 son grupos metilo, o de una de sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables cuando R3 es un átomo de hidrógeno, que comprende ciclizar un compuesto de fórmula. **(formula 03)** en donde X es un átomo de oxígeno o azufre, y R1 y R2 son cada un átomo de hidrógeno o un grupo metilo; con tal que cuando X es un átomo de azufre, tanto R1 como R2 son grupos metilo, para obtener un ácido carboxílico de fórmula. **( formula 04)** en la que X, R1 y R2 son como seha definido anteriormente, y, si se desea, convertirle en su sal farmacéuticamente aceptable, y cuando se desea el compuesto de fórmula (01) en la que R3 es un grupo ( 2 -(2- hidroxietoxi) etilo, hacer reaccionar el ácido carboxílico de fórmula ( 04) o uno de sus derivados reactivos, con un compuesto de fórmula **( formula 05)** en donde Q es un grupo hidroxilo o un grupo funcional que forma ésteres, e Y es un grupo hidroxilo o un grupo protector del grupo hidroxilo converible en grupo hidroxilo, y si se desea, retirar el grupo protector del grupo resultante.
