Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de 2-cloro-4-etilamino-6-isopropilamino-s-triazina, en el que se hace reaccionar cloruro cianúrico, en una primera etapa de afinación, con isopropilamina o con etilamina, para da 2,6-dicloro-4-isopropilamino-s-triazina o 2,6-dicloro-4-etilamino-s-triazoma, respectivamente, la cual se hace reaccionar subsiguientemente, en una segunda etapa de afinación, con etilamina o con isopropilamina respectivamente, efectuándose ambas reacciones en un disolvente mixto de acetona y agua u en presencia de un agente de fijación de ácido, caracterizado porque en la primera etapa de afinación la proporción molar de cloruro cianúrico a alcohilamina es de por lo menos 1,04:1, y porque subsiguientemente a la primera etapa de afinación, pero antes de la segunda etapa de aminación, se hidroliza el cloruro cianúrico que queda en la mezcla de reacción, utilizando una cantidad suficiente de una base para mantener el pH de la mezcla de reacción en el margen de 6 a 11, para dar unasal soluble en agua de monohidroxidiclorotriazina.
