Abstract

The automatic machine for dispensing hot drinks made from freeze-dried or soluble products, such as coffee or chocolate, incorporates two housings (1, 2) joined together by means of a plate (4). The plate (4) is connected to a thermostatically controlled container (5) constituting a heater, mixer and dispenser. A motor (9)-driven fan wheel mixer (12) is pivot mounted in the container (5). Above the container (5) are chutes (14, 15) which supply the powder and an amount of water to the mixer container (5). The amount of powder is measured out by means of a cylinder (22) which is rotated by a shaft (20). The water is measured out by means of a cam drive mechanism (34, 36, 37), water duct (30) and lever (33).
