Abstract

Procedimiento para la producción de un material microporoso de cloruro de polivinilo, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de: (a) formar una mezcla uniformemente dispersada de: (i) cloruro de polivinilo sin plastificar (PVC); (ii) un disolvente orgánico para el mismo, y (iii) un material de relleno particulado removible, cuyo tamaño medio de partícula en peso/número es de 5 a 200 micras; siendo la relación de disolvente a polímero, en partes en peso, de 2:1 a 7:1; y la relación de material de relleno removible a polímero de 6,5:1 a 20:1; y siendo tal la composición de la mezcla que caiga dentro del área cerrada definida por los puntos ABCDEA de la figura 5 de los dibujos adjuntos; (b) conformar la mezcla; (c) coagular el cloruro de polivinilo (PVC) sin plastificar por tratamiento de la mezcla conformada con al menos un agente coagulante para el PVC, que es al menos parcialmente miscible con el disolvente orgánico, y que comprende una mezcla del disolvente orgánico para el PVC y un nodisolvente para el PVC que es al menos parcialmente miscible con el disolvente orgánico y, opcionalmente, material de relleno disuelto removible; y simultáneamente o a continuación (d) lixiviar prácticamente la totalidad del material de relleno removible para dejar al PVC de la mezcla en forma microporosa.
