Abstract

Procedimiento para preparar pinturas intumescentes dotadas de propiedades de resistencia a la llama, que tienen en calidad de constituyentes esenciales, una base polimérica para pinturas, un diluyente, una fuente de ácido fosforico, una fuente de carbono y un agente intumescente, caracterizado en su realización porque comprende constituir una composición de las citadas pinturas con una fuente de carbono y agente intumescente esencialmente formado por un producto único conteniendo nitrógeno acuoinsoluble elegido entre (a) los productos de reacción de un aldehído con compuestos que contienen dos grupos nr o un grupo nr y un grupo -co y/o -cs insertado en una estructura cíclica (R= H o hidroxialquilo con 1-4 átomos de carbono), y (b) productos de reacción de diisocianatos o triicocianatos alitaticos o aromáticos con compuestos orgánicos que tienen en la molécula átomos de hidrógeno reactivos, homogeneizando íntimamente el citado producto, según las técnicas usuales en el arte, con el resto decomponentes y aditivos normales en el.
