Abstract
Mejoras introducidas en el objeto de la patente principal nº 442.003 por Elemento de combustible nuclear que incluye (a) un núcleo central de un cuerpo de material combustible nuclear elegido en el grupo que consiste en compuesto de uranio, plutonio, torio y mezclas de estos, y (b) un recipiente de vaina compuesta de forma alargada que incluye un tubo de aleación de circonio conteniendo elementos constitutivos distintos del circonio, en una cantidad superior a aproximadamente 5.000 partes por millón y una barrera de metal no deformada hecha de circonio de pureza moderada, unida metalúrgicamente a la superficie interna del tubo de aleación teniendo dicha barrera de metal no deformada un espesor de aproximadamente 1 a 30% del espesor de dicho tubo de aleación de circonio, conteniendo dicho recipiente dicho núcleo dejando un espacio entre el recipiente y el núcleo.
