Abstract
Se describen derivados O-, N- y carboxílicos de tienamicin- sulfóxido (I, n=1) y tienamicin-sulfona (I, n=2): **(Fórmula)** donde n es 1 o 2, R1 y R2 están seleccionados independientemente entre hidrógeno y acilo; R3 es, entre otros, hidrógeno, acilo o alquilo; X es O o NR y R es, entre otros, hidrógeno o un radical sal o éster farmacéuticamente aceptable. Estos derivados son útiles como antibióticos. También se describen procedimientos para la preparación de estos derivados, composiciones farmacéuticas que los contienen y métodos de tratamiento que consisten en administrar estos derivados y composiciones cuando esté indicado un efecto antibiótico.
