Abstract
Procedimiento para fabricar un macho perdido para moldes de colada de metales, constituido por varias partes que, llegado el caso se penetran mutuamente, en particular para la fabricación de bloques de cilindros para motores de combustión interna, en el que las partes de macho están hechas de un material resistente al efecto del metal fundido y se mantienen a las distancias recíprocas prefijadas por medio de un material sintético celular que se vaporiza o gasifica bajo el efecto del metal fundido, moldeándose primero previamente una primera parte de macho, caracterizado dicho procedimiento porque directamente sobre al menos una parte de la superficie exterior de la primera parte de macho y en contacto íntimo con esta superficie exterior se produce una capa envolvente de material celular, y se moldea y consolida esta capa según un contorno exterior prefijado, tras lo cual se moldea otra parte de macho directamente sobre al menos una parte de la superficie exterior contorneada de la capa envolvente y en contacto íntimo con esta superficie exterior, y se reúne esta otra parte de macho con la primera parte de macho y la capa envolvente para formar una unidad constructiva de macho fija.
