Abstract

Método y su correspondiente aparato para contar objetos de forma generalmente esferoidal o elipsoidal que se presentan de manera aleatoria continuamente en una zona de recuento, caracterizado el aparato porque incluye: a) un dispositivo para iluminar los objetos dentro de los límites de dicha zona de recuento; b) un dispositivo para explorar la zona de recuento y para generar impulsos de señal binaria programados sucesivos que corresponden a los respectivos niveles de iluminación de las zonas separadas de cada objeto exploradas sucesivamente, teniendo dichos impulsos de señal un valor lógico digital "1" cuando el nivel de iluminación varia en una dirección opuesta respecto a dicho valor predeterminado; y c) un dispositivo de circuito lógico para reunir ciertos de dichos valores de impulsos de señal binaria generados por cada objeto en una configuración de identificación que tiene una forma tal que se produce solamente una vez por cada objeto explorado, y para decodificar los valores binarios de dicha configuración con el fin de obtener un impulso de salida de recuento por cada objeto presentado a la zona de recuento.
