Abstract
Un método con su aparato correspondiente, para el cambio del anillo de matriz en una prensa de extrusión indirecta, provista de un contenedor, un vástago de matriz, un conjunto de matriz-anillo de matriz montado sobre dicho vástago de matriz, medios de accionamiento para establecer el movimiento relativo entre el conjunto de matriz y dicho contenedor para efectuar una extrusión, y un dispositivo de cambio de anillo de matriz para separar un anillo de matriz de dicha matriz, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de: producir un movimiento relativo entre dicho conjunto de matriz y anillo de matriz y dicho contenedor para separar el conjunto de matriz-anillo de matriz de dicho contenedor lo suficiente para exponer el anillo de matriz con el fin de que pueda extraerse de dicha matriz; hacer que dicho dispositivo de cambio de anillo de matriz se mueva de modo que soporte dicho anillo de matriz expuesto y, a continuación hacer que dicho dispositivo de cambio de anillo de matriz se mueva por segunda vez de modo que separe dicho anillo de matriz de dicha matriz y transfiriéndolo desde dicha matriz hasta una estación alejada.
