Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de una composición de prepolímero de poliuretano curable, cuyo procedimiento comprende: a) hacer reaccionar 1,2-2,0 moles de tolilendiisocianato conteniendo por lo menos 65% del isómero 2,4 con 1 mol de poli(tetrametilenoxi)glicol con un peso molecular promedio en número de 400-3000 aproximadamente y un compuesto poli(etilenoxi) con un peso molecular promedio en número de 310-4000 aproximadamente y conteniendo 7 a 30 grupos (-CH2-CH2O-) y uno o dos grupos hidroxilo, proporcionando sus grupos (-CH2-CH2O-) de 0,5 a 4,0 % del peso combinado del compuesto poli(etilenoxi) y poli(tetrametilenoxi)glicol, mientras que el poli(tetrametilenoxi)glicol proporciona no menos del 80 % de dicho peso combinado, para obtener el prepolímero de poliuretano curable; b) combinar el producto procedente de la etapa anterior con una combinación de un complejo de metilendianilina(cloruro sódico en una relación molar de 3:1 con urea, en proporciones tales que la relación de amina-NH2 a -NCO es alrededor de 0,95:1 a 1,50:1, siendo la proporción de urea de 2-5 partes por 100 en peso del complejo de metilendianilina/cloruro sódico.
