Abstract

Substituted carbamates, preparation thereof and use thereof as insecticides, for control of pestiferous insects belonging to such orders as Lepidoptera, Coleoptera and Diptera, the carbamates having the formula: < CHEM > wherein R is branched or straight chain alkyl containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms or methoxymethyl R1 is branched or straight chain alkyl containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms < CHEM > An illustrative compound is dimethyl-N,N min - [[1,2-ethanediylbis [thio(methylimino) carbonyloxy]] bis (ethaneimidothioate).
