Abstract
Circuito para hacer funcionar una lámpara de vapor metálico a presión elevada de un tipo que tiene una carga de sodio en una envoltura dotada de electrodos separados, y que está alimentada para producir, a una potencia de entrada nominal, una presión de vapor de sodio que da lugar al cambio automático y al ensanchamiento de las líneas D de resonancia del sodio, caracterizado porque incluye un dispositivo conector para realizar conexiones con los electrodos de dicha lámpara y un dispositivo para energizar dicha lámpara que incluye un generador de impulsos eléctricos conectado con dicho dispositivo conector, proporcionando dico generador aproximadamente dicha potencia de entrada nominal, teniendo dicho impulsos una subida suficientemente rápida y una duración suficientemente corta para producir, además de la luz que resulta del cambio automático y del ensanchamiento de las líneas D del sodio, una cantidad de luz sustancial en el lado azul-verde del espectro, con lo cual la temperatura de color de dicha lámpara aumenta.
