Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en los sistemas para eliminar impurezas de líquidos que las contienen, caracterizados porque el sistema comprende: un recipiente que contiene una cantidad de material de tratamiento en partículas compactado sueltamente que elimina las impurezas de líquido por contacto con el mismo, teniendo el recipiente múltiples aberturas pequeñas en una de sus paredes, una capa compactada de material filtrante finamente dividido y en partículas en cada una de las aberturas de la pared del recipiente, medios para retener la capa de material filtrante en cada una de las aberturas, medios para barrer repetidamente sobre las aberturas en las que el material filtrante está retenido para impedir el cegamiento del material filtrante, y medios para mantener una diferencia de presión entre el interior y el exterior del recipiente para ayudar al paso del líquido a través del material filtrante retenido en las aberturas.
