Abstract
Un método de colar continuamente electrodos no afinados en cantidad para utilizarse en el afino electrolítico de metales, el cual método comprende colar continuamente una banda metálica de una manera tal que, en porciones secundarias distanciadas longitudinalmente de su longitud, la banda tiene un agujero o agujeros y/o un rebajo o rebajos en uno o cada uno de sus bordes laterales y/o tiene una región o regiones de espesor sustancialmente reducido en comparación con el de la porción principal de su longitud; y cortar la banda colada en posiciones distanciadas a lo largo de su longitud para formar una pluralidad de electrodos no afinados, cada uno de los cuales electrodos tiene, en la porción del electrodo que sobresaldrá por encima del nivel de la solución de electrolito cuando el electrodo esté soportado en una celda electrolítica, al menos un agujero y/o al menos un entrante en un borde de dicha porción y/o al menos una región de espesor sustancialmente reducido en comparación con el delcuerpo principal del electrodo, constituyendo el área de dicho agujero o agujeros y/o entrante o entrantes y/o región o regiones una proporción sustancial de dicha porción sobresaliente del electrodo.
