Abstract

Procedimiento para regenerar con energía de microondas coque, coque de baja calidad o hulla, que tiene dióxido de azufre adsorbido en los mismos, en la forma de ácido sulfúrico, cuyo procedimiento comprende someter los mencionados coque, coque de baja calidad o hulla a energía de microondas, a una frecuencia que provoca la formación de un arco, durante un período de tiempo suficiente para incrementar la temperatura de los citados coque, coque de baja calidad o hulla, a un nivel en el cual dicho ácido sulfúrico se convierte a dióxido de azufre, y desorbido del coque, coque de baja calidad o hulla.
