Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce sharply the generation of NOx, to decrease the nitrogen component contained in sulfuric acid of the product accompanying to that and thus to improve the quality of sulfuric acid, by washing the desulfurization residuum from coke oven gas with water and by burning it together with a combustion promoting agent after having been dehydrated.
