Abstract
Un miembro de soporte poroso para uso en un dispositivo separador de fibras huecas en el que dichas fibras se extienden a través de una lámina de tubos y terminan por sus extremos abiertos en una cara de menor presión de dicha lámina de tubos, comprendiendo dicho miembro de soporte un miembro inerte e incompresible para reducir la deformación de dicha lámina de tubos y para mantener la posición relativa de los mismos dentro de dicho dispositivo cuando a dicha lámina de tubos se le aplica una diferencia de presiones, estando dicho miembro de soporte situado en posición junto a la cara de menor presión de la lámina de tubos, y destinado a transmitir a dicho dispositivo de separación una fuerza correspondiente a la citada diferencia de presiones, teniendo dicho miembro de soporte unos segmentos de superficie en contacto con la cara de la lámina de tubos, caracterizado porque la anchura media efectiva de dichos segmentos es menor de aproximadamente el doble del diámetro medio interiorde las fibras huecas, y en el que el área total de dichos segmentos de superficie comprende del 15% al 70% del área de superficie total de dicho miembro
