Abstract

Sistema de carga de baterías para un vehículo de carretera que comprende un alternador, un rectificador principal que conecta el alternador con una batería principal, un rectificador auxiliar que proporciona un voltaje de salida que es el mismo que el proporcionado por el rectificador principal cuando funciona normalmente el alternador, un convertidor de corriente continua en corriente continua que conecta la batería principal con una batería auxiliar en serie con la batería principal, y medios de conmutación semi-conductores para inhibir el funcionamiento del convertidor de corriente continua en corriente continua sensibles al voltaje de salida del rectificador auxiliar y previstos para inhibir el funcionamiento de dicho convertidor cuanto tal voltaje de salida es inferior a un nivel predeterminado.
