Abstract
Un método para preparar haluros de triorganoestaño de la fórmula general: **(Fórmula)** en donde Z1 es cloro, bromo o yodo, R1 es metilo o etilo, R2 es hidrógeno, metilo o etilo y n es 0,1 ó 2, con la condición de que cada uno de los tres radicales hidrocarbonatos unidos al estaño contienen desde 6 a 10 átomos de carbono, consistiendo dicho método en hacer reaccionar en condiciones anhidras y bajo atmósfera inerte tres moles de un haluro de organomagnesio de la fórmula general AMgZ1 por cada mol de un trihaluro de organoestaño R3SnZ23 para formar A3SnR3 y subsiguientemente hacer reaccionar el A3SnR3 con una cantidad equimolecular de un haluro estánnico SnZ34 en un disolvente hidrocarburo líquido, y a una temperatura de -25 a 80ºC para proporcionar A3SnZ3.
