Abstract

Un procedimiento para fabricar un polvo adecuado para la fabricación pulvimetalúrgica de componentes magnéticos suaves, caracterizado porque comprende las operaciones de producir, preferiblemente por atomización, un polvo de hierro de alta pureza, recocer dicho polvo en una atmósfera reductora a una temperatura de 700-1000ºC , preferiblemente 800- 900ºC, tamizar el polvo así obtenido de manera que la porción principal de polvo tenga un tamaño de partícula entre 417 y 147 micras, menos del 5% del polvo tenga un tamaño de más de 417 micras, y menos del 20% y preferiblemente menos del 10% del polvo tenga un tamaño de partícula de menos de 147 micras, y añadir al polvo así obtenido, como aditivo de aleación, hasta 1,5 y preferiblemente entre 0,15 y 1,0% de fósforo.
