Abstract
Se preparan por diversos métodos 9- (2,6-dihalobencil) adeninas esencialmente exentas del isómero 3, útiles como occidiostatos. Uno de los métodos consiste en alquilar una sal de adenina con haluros de 2,6-dihalobencilo en un sistema bifásico, en presencia de un catalizador de transferencia de fases y después tratar la mezcla resultante de los isómeros de posición, que contiene fundamentalmente el isómero 9 deseado contaminado por cantidades sustanciales del isómero 3 mutagénico, mediante desalquilación selectiva del isómero 3 con ácido sulfúrico en presencia de un aceptor del ion carbenio para obtener el isómero 9 esencialmente exento de isómero 3. Alternativamente las 9-(2,6-dihalobencil)adeninas se preparan directamente descontaminadas de los isómeros de posición a partir de 4,5,6-triaminopirimidina a través de la 7-(N-formil-N- dihalobencilamino)-{1,2,5}tiadiazolo {3,4-d}pirimidina
