Abstract

Esta invención se refiere a la represión de pulgas y garrapatas en los animales de sangre caliente, tales como gatos y perros, por aplicación de un dispositivo generador de polvo y gas insecticidas en combinación. Más particularmente, esta invención se refiere a nuevas composiciones y a métodos de fabricación de un collar para animales domesticados constituido por una resina, sintética tal como poli (cloruro de vinilo) que tiene dispersado en ella el insecticida fosfato de dimetil-1,2-dibromo-2,2-dicloro-etilo, conocido comunmente como naled, y un carbamato sustancialmente no volátil.
