Abstract

Un método de preparación de una composición absorbente de fluidos acuosos donde un polihidroxi-polímero naturla es polimerizado por injerto con acrilonitrilo y el polímero de injerto resultante es saponificado para formar grupos carboxamida y carboxilato en el mismocuyo método se caracteriza por realizar la polimerización de injerto en presencia de por lo menos otro monómero acrílico soluble en agua para formar un copolímero de injerto de los comonómeros y el polihidroxi-polímerosiendo la relación molar de los otros monómeros acrílicos al acrilonitrilo de 1:99 a 85:15.
