Abstract

Procedimiento para reducir el pico de yodo 131 al desconectarse reactores nucleares refrigerados por agua a presión, cuyos elementos combustibles constan de una multiplicidad de barras combustibles envuelta con metal, y cuyo circuito de refrigerante está dotado de una instalación depuradora de productos de fisión, caracterizado porque días antes del plazo de desconexión planeado, se reduce hasta el 30% durante algunas horas la potencia del reactor, y después se pone nuevamente a servicio de potencia normal hasta la desconexión definitiva.
