Abstract
Un método para beneficiar un concentrado de espato flúor, que contiene apatita como mineral de ganga, que consiste en concentrar de nuevo el espato flúor, que ha sido previamente tratado para separar la totalidad o la mayor parte de los constituyentes comunes de la ganga, mediante un proceso de flotación con espuma que utiliza un circuito de flotación ácido, cuyo método se caracteriza por agregar un reactivo catiónico colector de apatita al circuito de flotación para recoger y hacer flotar prácticamente la totalidad de la apatita; agregar una fuente de iones fluoruro al circuito de flotación para deprimir el espato flúor, separar la apatita por flotación y recuperar el espato flúor de la corriente del fondo.
