Abstract

Procedimiento para preparar S-isopropil-1-(5-etil-2-metil-carbotioato), caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de (a) reaccionar 2-metil-5-etil-piridina con hidrógeno en presencia de un catalizador que comprende rodio soportado sobre carbón activado; (b) reaccionar el producto de la etapa (a) con clorotiolformato de isopropilo; y (c) recuperar S-isopropil-1-(5-etil-2-metilpiperidina carbotioato) del producto de reacción de (b).
