Abstract

Esta invención proporciona una composición farmacéutica que contiene un compuesto de fórmula (I) y un vehículo farmacéuticamente aceptable. Normalmente la composición de esta invención es adecuada para administración oral. La composición puede presentarse en forma de dosis convencional como tabletas, cápsulas, papelillos de polvo reconstituíble o similares. En el caso más adecuado, la composición se presenta en forma de dosis unitaria que contiene de 20 a 600 mg de un compuesto de la invención, v.g. de 50 a 40 mg. Estas composiciones pueden ser administradas una o más veces al día de manera que la dosis diaria total para un adulto de 70 kg será del orden de 40 a 1200 mg, por ejemplo de 100 a 600 mg. Las composiciones pueden prepararse de forma convencional por mezclado, llenado, formación de tabletas y similares y las composiciones pueden contener excipientes convencionales como lubricantes, desintegrantes, ligantes, cargas, agentes colorantes, aromatizantes y similares. Las composiciones pueden ser formuladas de la forma descrita para agentes anti inflamatorios conocidos como la indometacina, anproxen, cetoprofen, fenilbutazona o similares.
