Abstract

Mejoras en un procedimiento para la preparación de una solución o suspensión acuosa de un agente tensoactivo de fórmula R(OCH2CH2)n OSO3M, donde R es alquilo de 10 a 18 átomos de carbono y el número medio de átomos de carbono de R es de 12 a 15, n es un número de 0 a 5 y M es sodio o potasio, o mezclas de dichos agentes tensoactivos, cuyo procedimiento se caracteriza porque comprende hacer reaccionar un compuesto de fórmula R(OCH2CH2)n OH con un derivado de azufre seleccionado del grupo formado por trióxido de azufre y ácido clorosulfónico para producir la correspondiente reacción de sulfatación y obtener un compuesto de fórmula R(OCH2CH2)n OSO3M.
