Abstract
Un método de tender una conducción en alta mar, que comprende impulsar una barcaza de tendido de tubo a lo largo de un derecho de paso predeterminado, alimentar una longitud continua de tubo desde la barcaza al lecho marino subyacente de modo que el tubo es tendido aproximadamente a lo largo de una trayectoria predeterminada en el derecho de paso, impulsar un buque sustancialmente sobre y a lo largo de la pista el tubo tendido, averiguar, por medio de una ecosonda, la posición del punto de contacto de la tubería, calcular la desviación lateral del punto de contacto respecto de la trayectoria predeterminada, y controlar el desplazamiento lateral de la barcaza de tendido de tubo de acuerdo con la desviación calculada del punto de contacto respecto de la trayectoria a fin de reducir la desviación anteriormente mencionada.
