Abstract

Un procedimiento para preparar elastómeros de poliuretano-urea, caracterizado porque comprende las operaciones de combinar copolímeros de óxido de propileno y tetrahidrofurano, conteniendo dicho copolímero grupos hidroxilo terminales, aádir poliisocianatos orgánicos para formar compuestos que tienen grupos finales terminados en isocianato, estando comprendida la proporción de equivalentes de dichos poliisocianatos a dichos grupos hidroxilo terminales entre alrededor de 1,25 y alrededor de 3,0, añadir un disolvente de prepolímero al recipiente de preparación, y añadir diaminas aromáticas para formar dicho elastómero de poliuretano-urea, estando comprendida la proporción de equivalentes de grupos amino de dichas diaminas aromáticas a dichos grupos isocianato entre alrededor de 0,8 y alrededor de 1,2.
