Abstract
Un método de purificar un alcohilfenol de impurezas contenidas en él, por cristalización y lavado de los cristales resultantes con un disolvente inerte para el alcohilfenol, caracterizado porque la cristalización del alcohilfenol, caracterizado porque la cristalización del alcohilfenol se efectúa continuamente, alimentándose el alcoilfenol a una velocidad comprendida entre 0,12 y 0,31 hr-1, y efectuándose el lavado de los cristales en una capa formada por dichos cristales, y que desciende a velocidad de 0,1 a 1,0 hr-1; efectuándose el lavado con un disolvente que se mueve en contracorriente a velocidad de 0,09 a 0,35 hr-1.
