Abstract

Un procedimiento mejorado de flotación para recuperar scheelita de mena de wolframio de baja calidad, implicando la adición, a una pasa acuosa de mena, de un agente de alcalinización de carbonato, y un dispersante, seguidos por un captador aniónico, en el que la mejora comprende añadir a la pasta de mena, antes de la adición del captador aniónico, una cantidad de óxido cálcico suficiente para elevar el pH del medio acuoso de la pasta en 0,1 unidades de pH tras acondicionamiento de la pasta por agitación suficiente para suspender sustancialmente todos los sólidos de la pasta en el medio acuoso de la pasta, realizándose dicho acondicionamiento durante al menos aproximadamente cinco minutos, y estando comprendido el pH de la pasta de mena, antes de la adición de captador aniónico, entre aproximadamente 9-12.
