Abstract
Perfeccionamientos introducidos en una transmisión hidrostática que comprende una bomba hidráulica principal y un motor hidráulico, al menos uno de los cuales es un dispositivo de desplazamiento variable cuyo desplazamiento de volumen es variable por el ajuste de un miembro de control asociado con el dispositivo, estando conectado el motor hidráulico para ser propulsado por fluido hidráulico bajo alta presión suministrada por dicha bomba, teniendo el motor un árbol de propulsión secundario para proporcionar el par de salida procedente de la transmisión, estando conectados dicha bomba y dicho motor en un sistema en bucle cerrado, habiendo una conducción de salida de fluido hidráulico que conecta el lado de salida de dicha bomba con dicho motor para suministrar el fluido de trabajo a alta presión a dicho motor y una conducción de retorno de fluido hidráulico que conecta dicho motor con el lado de retorno de dicha bomba para devolver a la bomba fluido bajo presión reducida que sale de dicho motor, una bomba reforzadora conectada para retirar fluido hidráulico de un depósito para fluido hidráulico y suministrarlo a dicho sistema en bucle cerrado para reponer cualquier pérdida de fluido hidráulico y suministrarlo a dichos sistema en bucle cerrado para reponer cualquier pérdida de fluido hidráulico desde dicho sistema en bucle cerrado, un acelerador para dicho árbol de propulsión secundario, siendo dicho acelerador desplazable para hacer variar la máxima presión de suministro de fluído hidráulico que puede lograrse por dicha bomba hidráulica principal, y medios de control para ajustar automáticamente dicho miembro de control con el fin de mantener sustancialmente constante la presión de fluido de trabajo hidráulico suministrado por dicha bomba hidráulica principal, en el valor máximo determinado por la posición de ajuste de dicho acelerador en cualquier ajuste particular del mismo a lo largo del margen de caudales de dicho dispositivo de desplazamiento variable desde su estado de caudal mínimo a su estado de caudal máximo, con lo cual el par de dicho árbol secundario aumenta con el desplazamiento de dicho acelerador para aumentar la máxima presión de abastecimiento de fluido hidráulico que puede lograrse por dicha bomba hidráulica principal y el par de dicho árbol de salida disminuye con desplazamiento de dicho acelerador para disminuir la presión de abastecimiento máxima de fluido hidráulico que puede lograrse por dicha bomba hidráulica principal.
