Abstract

Nuevo procedimiento caracterizado por hacer reaccionar un éster de sulfóxido de 3-exometilencefama con una mezcla de un ácido carboxílico C1-C4 y un anhídrido de ácido C1-C4 correspondiente a una temperatura de 70ºC a 130ºC aproximadamente, para producir la correspondiente 3-aciloximetil-delta2-cefema, que es útil como intermediario en la preparación de cefalosporinas antibióticamente activas. Los antibióticos de cefalosporina con un grupo aciloximetilo en el átomo de carbono C3 del núcleo de cefema son muy conocidos en el campo de las cefalosporinas. Esta invención está dirigida a un procedimiento para preparar compuestos de 3-aciloximetil-delta2-cefema, cuyos compuestos se pueden convertir fácilmente, por medio de técnicas conocidas, en los antibióticos de 3-aciloximetilcefalosporina mencionadas anteriormente.
