Abstract

Alternatively, the stirrer is kept in a fixed position and the flux dispersed by a deflection assembly pivoting around a fixed point of the vessel. Used for mixing of liq. or gaseous fluids. System creates local mixing energy greater per unit of volume than present systems. The couple on the shaft is reduced which allows the shaft dia. to be reduced. Anti-rotation baffles can be made smaller or eliminated.
