A method of forming a corrosión resistant coating on a metal surface, comprising the steps of a) applying to said surface a hardenable composition containing: (1) a compound having more than one 1,2-epoxy grouping per molecule and which is constituted by a liquid epoxy resin with an epoxy equivalent of about 185 to 210; (2) an effective amount of a curing agent of the formula: ** (see formula) ** Where n has a value of 2 to 5; and (3) a filler material in an amount comprised between about 20 and about 50% by weight of said epoxy resin and an effective amount of a dispersing agent for said filler material; and b) allowing said mixture to harden.
