Abstract
Improvements in servo motors for brake booster systems, of the type that comprise a front frame and a rear frame that define a casing, a mobile wall that divides said casing into two chambers, one of said chambers being connected to a reference pressure source, being intended the other chamber to selectively receive the reference pressure or a regulation pressure greater than said reference pressure, the mobile wall being attached to a rolling diaphragm having a peripheral rib, closing means being enabled to hermetically connect said frames and for sealingly retaining the peripheral rib, the front frame having a closed end and an annular wall section terminating at an open end the closure means comprising an annular seat located in said annular wall a predetermined distance from the open end of the front frame, characterized by the fact that the d The closure further comprises a series of alignment grooves along the open end of the front frame, tabs extending along the periphery of the open end between the alignment grooves, the rear frame having a peripheral protrusion virtually equal in width to the distance between the annular seat and the alignment grooves in the annular wall section, said projection having a series of lugs to engage with the alignment grooves, the peripheral projection engaging the rib on the diaphragm, putting the appendages of the section of annular wall in contact with the peripheral projection, causing the rib to flow resiliently towards the annular seat and the peripheral projection to create a fluid tight relationship between them.
