Abstract
A method of solving a DL mixture of a 2-deutero-3-fluorine-DL-alanine salt, which consists of preparing a saturated lower alkanolic solution of said DL mixture in a dissolution zone; transforming said solution into a supersaturated solution of said DL mixture; contacting said supersaturated solution with crystals of one of the corresponding individual isomers, thus crystallizing said isomer from said solution and recovering the other individual isomer from the resulting mother liquor.
