Abstract

Procedimiento de pre-calentamiento y fusión continua de minerales de hierro pre-reducidos , en hornos industriales, en particular hornos eléctricos, caracterizado por el hecho de que una carga, constituida al menos en su mayor parte de mineral pre-reducido, es introducida de manera continua en el horno eléctrico de fusión después de haber sido sometida a un calentamiento por la acción de los humos que salen de dicho horno de fusión y por la acción del calor y de los humos producidos por al menos un dispositivo de calentamiento auxiliar, y por el hecho de que la carga es sometida a dicho calentamiento mientras efectúa un movimiento combinado de traslación y de rotación en el interior de un cilindro refractario que puede girar , cuyo cilindro presenta un eje inclinado con respecto al plano horizontal y comunica, en correspondencia de su extremo inferior, con el horno de fusión a través de un canal formado en la bóveda del mismo
