Abstract
Procedimiento para la deposición galvánica de revestimiento brillantes de rodio formulando un baño acuoso de 2 a 5/l de rodio como sulfato o fosfato y 30 a 80 g/l de ácido sulfúrico o fosfórico libre, caracterizado porque, para influir sobre la polarización en el ánodo y para reducir el rendimiento de corriente en 5 a 20% se añaden al menos 50m/l de cloruro en forma de cloruros metálicos de los grupos principales I y II del sistema periódico, cloruro de aluminio y/o cloruro de cromo trivalente y a continuación se deposita una capa brillante de rodio, de 0,1 a 2 um de espesor, para lo cual se hace pasar una corriente eléctrica con una densidad de corriente de 0,5 a 2 A/dm2 a una temperatura comprendida entre 20 y 50ºC
