Process of continuous conversion of a hydroxylamine salt to another hydroxylamine salt, mainly applicable to the transformation of a sulfate or a hydroxylamine chloride into a nitrate or a hydroxylamine formate, characterized in that it comprises bringing the salt solution into countercurrent contact starting with a cationic solvent, so that the hydroxylamine cation is extracted, and then again extract this hydroxylamine cation by contacting in countercurrent the solvent thus loaded with an aqueous solution whose anion is that of the desired hydroxylamine salt obtain.
