Abstract
Process for the production of granulated pesticidal compositions that have prolonged pesticidal activity and reduced phytotoxicity, characterized in that it comprises the steps of: a) reacting 0,0-diethyldithiophosphoric acid with an equal molar amount of aqueous formaldehyde and a compound chosen from 1, 1-dimethylpropyl mercaptan and tert-butyl mercaptan for a period between 1 and 8 hours, at a temperature between 35 and 65ºC; b) the desired product is isolated by separating the organic layer and washing said organic layer with an aqueous solution of ammonium, sodium or potassium hydroxide; and c) the desired product, obtained from the previous step, is applied to sorbent or non-sorbent granulated particles, in an amount of approximately between 1 and 25% by weight.
