Abstract
Diagnostic agent for the detection of urobilinogens, optionally in the presence of bilirubin, in body fluids which agent comprises at least one stable benzene diazonium salt wherein the phenyl radical may be polysubstituted and contains in the o- or p-position at least one polyatomic electron donor group with at least one mesomeric electron pair, the sum of the Hammett sigma values for all the substituents not exceeding the value of +0.4.
