Abstract

Un procedimiento mejorado para preparar una poliamida de cadena larga soluble en agua para su epoxidación hasta formar una resina reforzante del papel en estado húmedo, estando derivada dicha poliamida de un ácido dicarboxílico alifático saturado de C3 a C6 y una polialcohilen-poliamina que tiene dos grupos amino primarios y al menos un grupo amino secundario, caracterizado porque la mejora comprende hacer reaccionar la polialcohilen- poliamina a aproximadamente 80-95ºC, en ausencia de agua, con un diéster del ácido, derivándose dicho diéster del ácido y un alcohol monohidroxilado alifático saturado de C1 a C3, y siendo la proporción molar de dicha poliamina a dicho diéster de desde aproximadamente 0,80 a 1,40
