Abstract
Procedimiento para la obtención de aluminio y flúor a partir de soluciones acuosas diluidas de fluoruro de aluminio, especialmente de las lejías madre de la cristalización de fluoruro de aluminio, caracterizado porque estas soluciones, a una temperatura de 15 a 35ºC, bajo agitación, se ajustan mediante adición de amoniaco gaseoso, soluciones acuosas de amoniaco o soluciones acuosas de sus sales con ácido carbónico, a un valor pH comprendido entre 6 y 6,5, preferentemente 6,1 - 6,3, y el fluoraluminato de amonio, que se precipita en forma sólida, se separa.
