Abstract
A pressure vessel comprising a two-piece casing and a flexible sealing or closing diaphragm that divides the internal volume of the casing into two chambers, each casing part being provided with a substantially cylindrical coupling part of larger internal diameter, which extends around its coupling edge, the internal diameter of one of the coupling parts being arranged to receive the coupling part of the other casing part, the two casing parts being secured together, one on each side of the diaphragm, so that its coupling parts form an annular groove on the inner surface of the container, in which a peripheral sealing part of the flexible diaphragm is located, the sealing part of the diaphragm being arranged so that it is kept in contact sealing within the slot by means of a ring member arranged to prevent rad movement ial into the sealing part of the diaphragm, from the slot.
