A process for the production of lubricating oils with improved properties that consists in treating a paraffin-based filler oil with a selective solvent in a first extraction zone, forming a first refining and a first extract, deparaffinize said first refining forming a first lubricating oil material with a spill point between -20º and + 20ºF (-29º and -7ºC) and a viscosity index of 85 to 100, treating at least a part of said first lubricating oil material with a selective solvent in a second extraction zone, forming a second raffinate comprising a second lubricating oil material with a spill point approximately between -10º and + 20ºF (-23º and -7ºC) and a viscosity index greater than 100 and a second extract comprising a third lubricating oil material with a spill point between -10º and + 20ºF (-23º and -7ºC) and a viscosity index between 65 and 95 approximately.
