Abstract
Improvements in the construction of adjustable supports for guide boxes that have the cylinder channels of a rolling mill, characterized in that said supports comprise an upper platform to maintain a cylinder channel in a fixed relationship with respect to the presentation of a part in preparation before the guide box, a sliding base that has a lower platform on its upper part, two complementary blocks between the platforms and by means of which the upper platform is supported on the lower platform, adjustment means to move in a way complementary inclined faces of the chocks, one in relation to the other; in opposite directions, to raise or lower the upper chock and the upper platform; a support element below the slide base and along which said slide base moves in the transverse direction of the direction of movement of the workpiece through the cylinder channel in the upper platform, and adjustable means to keep the sliding base in any chosen position on said support element.
