Abstract

Pharmaceutical compositions comprise L- dopa or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof together with a [alpha]-hydrazino-[alpha]-R-3,4- dihydroxyphenyl-propionic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, where R represents a hydrogen atom or a C 1 -C 4 alkyl radical. The hydrazine compound may be present as the D, L or racemic forms. A diluent, carrier, coating and/or excipient may be present.
